If you're quiet, shy or just introverted like me, public spaces including colleges or universities are definitely challenging. Part of what makes it challenging for an introvert is been around people. It's not that introverts do not like people, it's the fact that they feel drained after spending time with people who unlike them prefer asking lots of questions and making small talks; or that they feel emotionally exhausted after they step out of their comfort zone.

Therefore, as an introvert, what do you do? Well, with this blog, I hope to inspire you with some useful tips and tricks that I have personally found useful in working with introversion to expand comfort zones and accomplish a lot. Whether you're a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior, I hope you will find some of these tools beneficial.

As introverts, one of our strengths is the ability to reflect and think. So, I hope to make this space very welcoming and encourage you to share your thoughts and opinions.

  1. At some points in life (specially in college) being an introvert can be difficult. For me doing a class presentation or just asking asking a question in front of the class is panicking. And yes, it has stopped me from doing a lot more. Therefore, I'm excited to see your upcoming post and learn how to step out of my comfort zone.

  2. College can definitely be an experience for an introvert. I find myself being very quiet in class. There are a lot of things that I don't think I could ever do as a college student, but I have definitely been able to push myself into slightly uncomfortable situations. I can't wait to see what other office you can give to help me keep pushing myself.

    1. Hi Tristan, glad to hear that you are already taking steps into getting out of your comfort zone. The fact that you're already pushing yourself tells me that you at least have a knowledge about your strengths and weakness and that is the first step. I hope you keep coming back to to read the blog and feel free to share your ideas about introversion as well.
